Itinerary
Explore your journey day by day with a thoughtfully planned itinerary.
Day 1 - DELHI TO SHIMLA
- Leave from Delhi by 09:30 PM and reach Shimla the next morning
Day 2 - SHIMLA TO SANGLA VIA TRANDA DHANK
- The road meanders on the rock-carved picturesque landscape of Kinnaur along the river banks over the Indo-Tibet highway till you reach Karcham- the confluence of Sutlej and Baspa rivers, where a huge Dam is constructed for HydroElectric Power generation.
- We cross the Dam and continue along the banks of the Baspa River to enter Sangla Valley – one of the most beautiful valleys of the Himalayas.
Day 3 - SANGLA TO KALPA VIA CHITKUL, ROGNI, SUCIDE POINT POINT AND RECKONG PEO MARKET
- Post Breakfast, Explore the local village of Chitkul. Depart for Kalpa by Noon.
- On the way, we will stop at Roghi Suicide Point and Reckong Peo Market.
- From Roghi suicide point, we will move to Kalpa. Explore Kalpa village and the temple.
- Dinner will be served in the evening followed by an overnight stay in Kalpa
Day 4 - KALPA TO TABO/NAKO
- We leave Kalpa to head into the high mountains.
- After a downhill climb to the highway, we continue upstream of Sutlej witnessing the dramatic change in the landscape with every mile that passes by. With mountains becoming barren you are getting ever closer to Spiti Valley.
- At Nako you will see the artificial Nako Lake and nako Monastery.
Day 5 - NAKO TO KAZA VIA GUE, TABO MONASTERY & DHANKHAR GOMPA
- We heading to Gue to see India’s own naturally preserved Mummy and continue to Tabo.
- En route, we will make a brief pit stop and visit the Tabo Monastery.
- Our next stop in the sightseeing tour would be Dhankar where we will visit the thousand-year-old Dhankar Monastery.
Day 6 - ROUND KAZA – LANGZA, HIKKIM & KOMIC
- Drive on the twisting high roads of Spiti to reach Komic, the highest village in the world with a motorable road at 4580m.
- Have the most amazing experience of sending postcards to your loved ones from the World’s Highest post office at Hikkim (4440m).
- Continue driving on these high roads above 4300m with the magnificent Himalayas jutting in front of your eyes to reach Langza – the most beautiful Himalayan Village with a 6303m Peak Mt. CCKN adorning its backdrop.
Day 7 - KAZA TO CHANDRATAL LAKE VIA KEE MONASTERY, KIBBER, CHICHAM & KUNZUM LA PASS
- A trip to Spiti is incomplete without a visit to its iconic monastery at Kee. Built on top of a hill the main shrine is surrounded by residential quarters, and administrative buildings are built in the shape of a pyramid.
- This ancient marvel is a photographer’s delight. You’ll further visit the high villages of Kibber, Chicham.
- The drive retraces your path back towards Manali over Kunzum Pass before heading upstream of Chandra River till you reach the Hidden Jewel of the Himalayan mountains, the blue Jewel, Chandratal literally translated as Moon Lake.
- From the road head, you will have to trek for 15 min to reach the lake and if you feel energetic enough you can do the Parikrama or Circumambulation of the lake to witness its true glory.
Day 8 - CHANDRATAL TO MANALI VIA ATAL TUNNEL
- After the most memorable trip of your life, you head back to Manali via Atal tunnel.
- With a lot of photos, videos, and friends from the high Himalayas. with lots of amazing memories to remember for
a lifetime.
Day 9 - REACH DELHI BY MORNING
- Reach Delhi morning around 8 – 9:00 AM

- Volvo transfer from Delhi to Shimla and Manali to Delhi.
- Entire sightseeing by tempo traveler/SUV (Depending on group size)
- Accommodation for 6 nights – 1 Night at Sangla, 1 Night at Kalpa, 1 Night at Tabo, 2 Nights at Kaza, 1 night at Chandra Tal (CAMP STAY).
